YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Wondering if you're "fit enough," what to expect, or how the menopause consultation works?
Asking is the first step. Here's everything women ask me most about my one-hour menopause consultations and training at Fit Gym in Savannah.
The menopause consultation
What is the menopause consultation?
A one-hour, tailor-made video call where we look at the whole picture together: how you sleep, eat, move and feel, and what questions you have. You fill out a private form, we have our call and then I email you specific ideas to help you achieve holistic wellness.
Who is it for?
Any menopausal woman at any stage, from perimenopause to postmenopause. It's especially for you if you're exercising, eating well and maybe using HRT, and you still don't feel like yourself.
Is it online?
Yes. We meet virtually by video call for one hour.
What do we cover?
I follow what matters most to you. That can include sleep, nutrition, exercise, supplements, hair and skin, mood and stress, your questions about HRT, and anything specific that's driving you up the wall. Every session is different.
Do you give medical advice or prescribe anything?
No. I'm a fitness trainer and menopause coach, not a medical professional, so I don't diagnose, treat or prescribe, and I don't advise on medication. I help you understand your options and prepare the right questions for your doctor.
Is it a one-off or an ongoing program?
It's a single session. No package and nothing to renew. If you'd like more support later, please just ask.
What happens before and after the call?
Before, you fill in a short form so I can tailor your hour. During, we go through what matters most to you. Afterwards, you walk away with a short, clear plan that's personal to you.
How do you handle my personal information?
I only ask for what's useful for your session, and please share only what you're comfortable with. Please leave diagnoses and medication names out of forms and messages, and we'll talk it through together instead.
Training
Do I need any gym experience?
Not at all. Most women I work with are brand new, or haven't set foot in a gym in years. I'll show you around, explain the equipment and teach each movement from scratch, at your pace.
Where do sessions take place?
At Fit Gym in Sandfly, Savannah. The address is 7360 Skidaway Rd, Unit 1 and there's plenty of parking.
How long is a session?
Every training session is one hour.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
Yes, and I love it. Train solo for my full attention, as partners (two people) or as a trio (three people) for extra fun and built-in accountability.
How often should I train?
Public health guidelines recommend strength training at least twice a week, and three times a week is a sweet spot many coaches aim for. You don't have to start there. Begin with one session and I'll help you find a rhythm that fits your life.
Can you teach me and then I continue on my own?
Absolutely. You can train with me week after week, or I can teach you everything you need to know and send you off to do it solo. You're in charge either way.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes, supportive sneakers and a water bottle. That's it.
Booking and basics
How do I book?
Send me a message on the Contact page, and I'll reply with next steps. There's no obligation and it's very simple.
How much does it cost?
Training is $75 for solo sessions, $45 per person for partners and $40 per person for trios. The one-hour menopause consultation is $100.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give me at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged in full.
Where are you based?
Savannah, Georgia. Training takes place at Fit Gym, and consultations happen virtually, nationwide, by video call.
Can I do both training and a consultation?
Yes. Many women start with a consultation to get the whole picture, then train with me to put it into action. Or the other way around. It's up to you.
